Crown Estate and Lendlease Launch £24bn UK Development Partnership

The Crown Estate and Lendlease have formed a 50/50 joint venture to develop six major sites across London and Birmingham. This partnership aims to deliver approximately 26,000 homes and 10 million square feet of commercial and laboratory space, with a total estimated value of £24 billion.
Key Development Sites
Euston Station, London: 60 acres planned for 4.3 million sq ft of commercial space and 2,000 homes.
Silvertown, London: 60 acres with plans for 1.3 million sq ft of commercial space and 6,300 homes.
Smithfield, Birmingham: 40 acres intended for over 2 million sq ft of commercial space and 3,400 homes.
Stratford Cross, London: Three plots totalling more than 1.6 million sq ft of commercial space.
Thamesmead Waterfront, London: 250 acres set to deliver over 11,000 homes and 880,000 sq ft of commercial space.
High Road West, Haringey, London: 27 acres with plans for over 100,000 sq ft of commercial space and approximately 2,800 homes.
Main Contractor
Lendlease: Serving as the development manager for all six projects.
Subcontractors
